COMING SEPTEMBER 26th - DENISE PERRIER - A SUNDAY KIND OF LOVE
Denise Perrier has spent most of her thirty-year career performing in the San Francisco Bay Area and touring Europe, Latin America and Asia.
With her latest CD, "The Second Time Around," with guest Houston Person, she has moved to a higher level of artistry and popularity. Harkening back to the time when a singer told the story and left the rest to the instrumentalists, Denise has a very welcoming straight-ahead style, concentrating on the standards and adding blues and Latin for variety. Her musical configuration, Denise connects with audiences…that’s her forte.
She has been called “the voice with a heart.”

Bird's Nest is located in Waterpark Lofts at 2875 Glascock Street in Oakland, just next to the Park Street Bridge going into Alameda.
FROM NORTH: Cross the Bay Bridge. Take 880 So to 29th /Fruitvale exit. As you come off the ramp make an immediate right onto Derby Street, which dead ends at Glascock. Turn right onto Glascock. 2875 is at the end of the street, just before it dead ends at 29th. Waterpark Lofts will be the gated complex on your left next to the large parking lot of Tiki Tom's. Enter through Waterpark's pedestrian gate, through the parking lot and breezeway. #109 is to the right of the wooden circular stairs.
FROM SOUTH: Take 880 No. to the 29th /Fruitvale Ave. exit, making a right at the bottom of the ramp onto E 9th. At the first stop sign, make a right under the overpass and another right coming out from under the overpass (now going back in the direction you came from). At the next stop sign make a left onto Derby Street (being careful of the cars exiting the freeway). Derby deadends at Glascock Street, make another right onto Glascock. Park before the street deadends at 29th and Waterpark Lofts will be the gated community on your left. Enter through Waterpark's pedestrian gate, through the parking lot and breezeway. #109 is to the right of the wooden circular stairs.
FROM ALAMEDA: cross over the Park Street Bridge and make the first right. This is Glascock Street. Waterpark Lofts is the gated community on your right, next to Tiki Tom's parking lot. Enter through Waterpark's pedestrian gate, through the parking lot and breezeway. #109 is to the right of the wooden circular stairs.
